The New York Jets acquired the No. 13 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by completing the Darrelle Revis trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The pick gives the Jets a ton of flexibility in this year's NFL Draft, with opportunities to trade down and still have a high pick or the chance to draft two prospects in the first 13 selections if they stand pat. As our 2013 NFL Mock Draft rolled along Star Lotulelei was actually drafted for the Buccaneers, but we'll keep him here as an interesting fit for the Jets.

The New York Jets have a strong defensive line already with first round picks from the past two NFL Drafts plugged in, Muhammad Wilkerson and Quinton Coples. Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei may not be high on the list in terms of filling a need, but the Jets did cut Sione Pouha this offseason. Antonio Garay was brought in and Kenrick Ellis is in line for increased playing time, but Star Lotulelei is an intriguing player if he's still on the board at No. 13 overall in the 2013 NFL Draft.

If Star Lotulelei is still on the board, he'll be tough for the Jets to pass up. Wolf Heard of Buccaneers 101 selected him for the Bucs at this spot, but we kept him here after the completion of the Darrelle Revis trade. Star Lotulelei has drawn some comparisons to Haloti Ngata, who excelled for Rex Ryan with the Baltimore Ravens. If the Jets aren't interested in taking Star Lotulelei and he's still on the board, he could help drive up the price for teams looking to trade up.

Like Jarvis Jones and Damontre Moore, star Lotulelei was once considered a possible No. 1 overall selection. Since a heart issue popped up at the NFL Combine he has slipped down the board, even though doctors have cleared him. He's a great value pick outside the top 10 as a disruptive nose tackle in a 3-4 and could probably also fit well inside in a 3-4. He's more than just a space eater, even though he has the size and strength to occupy multiple offensive linemen and allow linebackers to roam free.

Some might see Star Lotulelei as an unlikely pick for the Jets, but it's going to be tough for Rex Ryan to pass on a defensive talent of his caliber at No. 13 if he's still available. If the Jets are on the clock at No. 13 and Star Lotulelei is there, we could also see a trade in the works as the Jets are rumored to be interested in moving down.
